Additions and Upgrades Used for Red Hat Linux 5.1

1) gtk+-1.0.2.tar.gz gtk+ version 1.0.2 shared libraries...various X applications require these shared libraries which either did not load successfully from, or were not contained on, our Red Hat 5.1/Alpha CDs

2) man-1.5d-3.src.rpm updated version of man freed of the segmentation faults which the version shipped with RH5.1 suffers

3) linuxconf-1.11r11-rh3.src.rpm updated version of linuxconf; does not function properly...receive the following error when trying to run when logged in as root:
remadmin (GUI frontend) exiting abnormaly
which is accompanied by a prompt where all colors are "messed up" and text does not echo properly...

4) patch-2.5-4.src.rpm patch file that "fixes some 'random' core dumps."

5) glint-2.6-2.alpha.rpm updated glint with CR-ROM fix; gtk libraries are still not functioning properly, so neither is this...

6) i grabbed everything from the sunsite.unc.edu alpha update directories and seem to have all necessary X functionality...
