Continuing to investigate the frame broadcast dropout problem at LHO and LLO, this is possibly due to multi-pipe Unix scripts that are being re-written in perl. LDAS: Testing discovered diskcacheAPI deadlock which has been analyzed and a candidate patch is being written. Continuing progress on porting to tcl-8.4.13 by moving call backs inside "after" calls rather than nesting them. Tclglobus 1.2 release was delayed after a bug was found and fixed. Started testing for tclglobus 1.3 release. GLUE: Waiting for a minor fix from Ben for next release. MATAPPS: Keith has discovered that Matlab version R2006a actually honors the "-nojvm" switch to properly prevent loading java libraries to reduce memory requirements when they are not needed. There are still some issues with 64-bit client java libraries that are being investigated--but this should only effect jobs that need graphics support. Still also need to check if an X server is needed on the cluster nodes with R2006a as it was with R14SP3. Onasys: Kipp found new ligolw code breaks onasys. AOB: Duncan has started testing the CIT Numerical Relativity code on the LDAS-CIT cluster. Initial performance tests look promising.
