Announcements:

  There will be a two day meeting at Caltech on 17/18 January 2007.
  the first day will have a face-to-face computing committee session
  in the morning and a technical LIGO Data Grid meeting in the
  afternoon. The second day will be devoted to LDR development
  discussions. 

  There will be a meeting with the Condor team at Madison on Tuesday,
  5 December 2006


Rest of the meeting:


The meeting was held to exactly 30 minutes going around the group to
identify any issues that were showing up.  Here's the list:

Stuart:
 * still waiting to get LSCSoft into lscsoft
 * just realised why Lab clusters were not doing back-fill; bug in BOINC
 * some activity on Condor development side; stack traces on Condor startd
 * would be nice to get root setup scripts (need to fix for cshrc)
 * condor_q
 * off by one sample in FrameL 
 * some mention glue need get unit tests for glue (1.11, 1.10)
 * online inspiral BNS search (lscdatafind query problems Ben and Duncan to 
check)

Dave/Mike:
 *  can try using the medusa to run.  
 *  how much space on medusa (over 200GB) -- Brian and Paul

Greg/Ben:
 * Things are stable there.

Kipp:
 * new feature in condor when DAGMAN log files are being writing to NFS 
partitions;  onasys produces such files;  waiting for a feature to turn check 
on or off on DAG by DAG basis

Kevin:
 * no issues with LDR.  
 * hardware issues causing netrowrk transfer slowdown.

Warren:
 * no new time 

Brian:
 * available data page in good shape

Nick:
 * needs to work with people to get frvect into pylal

Junwei:
 * nothing to report 

John Whelan:
 * nothing to raise


AOB:

  Duncan mentioned that he has a proposal from Igor about the segment
  database

  John Z has a little announcement.  He has been working on getting
  DMT ported to 64bit,  but in order for that to be turned into new
  rpm.  Need root and framecpp 64bit.  Can progress be made on this?  

  UWM to stand up testing repositories for LSCSOFT
