Much more abstract discussion with Miron than the one in Madison. Stuart raised the one about forwarding of credentials: it should detect and manage certificates. Stuart will follow up on that. DMT: no news on DMT. Glue: segment database is broken at the moment, Duncan will try to manually fix it. Igor flushed the message queues, so Duncan cannot track it down. Igor followed the instructions on the web and they failed to work in this case. Igor sent the document to Duncan for comment. No comments from Duncan yet; he asked that it be put into CVS and he will edit it there. Adam has put the glue into the testing repo, but he has not been able test. LAL/LALApps: nothing to report LDAS: nothing to report LDR: Kevin will send out an e-mail about the patch to the LSCdataFind servers. Ben has pacthed his and Kevin will patch barring small interval problem. How is the effort between pyGlobus and gridFTP working? No news at this time. Ben has put in some connection limiting code. Kevin will look at that and try to put it in. Kevin will only test patches with new version of LDR. The new versions of LDR are planned to upgraded sometime in January to replace gateway boxes, so Stuart will try to get ready to test at CIT first. LIGOTools: no reort this week. MatApps: not much to report this week. Going through to train people on using burst MDC packages. He is trying to set up install scripts and number of things like that. Onasys: no report this week. Stuart reminded that there is the open issue with local Universe jobs getting stuck. Duncan did a little forensic work and it seems to be a problem with Condor. OSG-LIGO: David has been looking at Gratia for OSG; they have fixed bugs and have sent them back to Fermilab and they will try to release. They are getting ready for a pre-testbed site to validate software for the ITB release. Fixed bugs on client package for OSG; latest release has not worked under FC4. David was working with Alain Roy and have been able to resolve them. Michael has been running on Medusa; has problems getting data back. He thinks it's a problem with the use of local cache. Confirmed that it is a bug in data transfer mechanisms. Patrick told Mike and David to work with Brian on getting more of the resources on Medusa. LIGO Data Grid Client/Server: nothing to report this week. Keith mentioned that he has been able to get global submissions to work.
