Attendance: Stuart Anderson (minutes) Warren Anderson Dave Meyers Adam Miller Brian Moe Mike Samidi John Zweizig Announcements: Next telecon, 4 January 2007; No telecon on 27 December 2006; There will be a two day meeting at Caltech on 17/18 January 2007. the first day will have a face-to-face computing committee session in the morning and a technical LIGO Data Grid meeting in the afternoon. The second day will be devoted to LDR development discussions. DMT (John): - Open issue with the effeciency of kleinewelle code using a very strange - I/O pattern that may be related to use of the multi-stream class. - Online jobs at LHO rebooted for filesystem maintenance went smoothly. 64-bit port running on LDAS-CIT cluster with the only known issue being distribution via LSCSOFT which requires a 64-bit update to frameCPP and ROOT that Adam is working on. LSCSOFT (Adam): - Testing new Glue RPM. - 64-bit ROOT RPM in testing. - 64-bit frameCPP coming soon. OSG (David and Mike): - Documented first instance of putting/getting gwf files from Storage Resource Manager (SRM) - Full hipe runnning at UCSD with an average of 33 slots. CONDOR (Anderson): - Poroblem with LSCdataFind on-line jobs at LHO getting stuck at LHO was tracked down to a Condor bug in Local Universe jobs reporting back to the Scheduler that they are done. The Condor team has agreed to fix this and the work around until then is to switch Local Universe jobs to the Scheuler Universe. This appears to be running well at LHO.
