Scott: UWM can configure the cluster with the same memory class adds
as the Caltech cluster, as requested by Vladimir, but Scott would
like to get feedback from the compcomm before doing this, as it is
more a policy decision, than a technical one.
Glue: nothing to report this week.
GSL: Duncan: Has any progress been made on allowing LAL to use GSL
1.9 as requested by Diego? No, not yet Jolien is away this week.
LDAS: Currently undergoing testing for the new release.
LDG: no report.
LDR: Stood up another metadataserver at CIT that will server MIT
directly. Need to configure the CIT server so that the master
processor knows about it. AEI has been having RLS problems, but this
could be local configuration issues. Syracuse is going to set up LDR
on a Solaris X4500 in the coming weeks. Scott asked Duncan to keep
him informed of progress.
Ligotools:
Metaio: nothing to report this week.
OSG: --ran V3 WF on ldas-grid successfully using Pegasus and Condor_G
(submit machine osg-itb-se)
-- attemp to achiev OSG milestone of running 1000 jobs simultaneously
on the OSG:
current max running 400,max idling 420 but progress hndered due to:
--stdout race condition (Condor/Globus problem ) testing in
progress, two temporary fixes are being tested
--gap in data problem when using dax generated by inspiral-hipe
--gridftp issue at PSU: error transferring files from PSU
DMT: New DMT release should be out real soon now. Currently running
final tests and noticing some discrepancies.
