Minutes
Attendance: Adam Brian Scott Patrick Stuart Ed Felippo Warren Nick Duncan Carsten Greg Britta Announcements: DMT: No report. Glue: Igor is still trying to sort replication. Duncan will give us some updates in the srping about where we go from here. LAL/LALApps: Jolien will start drafting something to get a plan together for the spring for eLigo ... LDAS: Ed is Working on some optimization of the diskcacheAPI optimizing performance and moving docs to doxygen. Patrick asked if there is a roadmap for any development for eLIGO. LDG Client/Server: no updates from Greg. LDM: Felipo mentioned that there is no update on LDM. Keith said that most people are now working on DMT online monitors, but that people will be moving to it in the next couple of months. LDR: Scott reported that there is a new customized LDG client with LDR. They were able saturate their 100Mbit/sec link over that wire. Got a factor of 10 in throughput to Cardiff. Syracuse will get it next. Cannot quite use the client to pull from CIT because it will not respect the tapes. Duncan reported that people have a dedicated link between his cluster room and downtown LA. LIGOTools: Duncan reported that there is an issue with readMeta, etc. The metaio is not incorporated into LIGOTools. Can we get people help to maintain it? Another outstanding issue is the X509 job submission issues. Duncan said that the metaio stuff could be installed directly from the metaio website. Stuart was worried about compatability with MatLab; not an issue. Kipp and Benoit need to get started doing things with FrameL; Onasys: Kipp owes a presentation about where Onasys should go. OSG-LIGO: Britta reported that there is progress with E@H running on OSG resources. There are some problems with the results and with getting credit, but they are being worked. She is also trying to understand SRM. Other: No telecon on 26 December.
