Keith Thorne Filippo Warren Patrick Brian Adam Duncan Greg John Kipp Ed Britta DMT: nothing to report. Glue: Duncan fixed the documentation build. He fixed the replication for the databases. It is working again; the certificates had been allowed to expire. LAL/LALApps: Jolien has been working on injection code for LAL. Kipp has also been working on injection code. They cannot agree on some small issue. Kipp has found some differences between excess power results when using the old and new code. We'll await a nice update on that. John and Kipp will investigate further. LDAS: Nothing to report. LDG Client/Server: Working towards Debian Etch support in the next version of VDT. If people are having problems, it should be addressed next. Patrick asked how many requests are in to VDT at this time. Greg said it is basically more support for different OSs including CentOS 5 and Mac OSX. Ed asked about Solaris? LDM: Nothing to report this week. LDR: Scott will be travelling to Germany and PSU to help with the setup of LDR at those sites. Syracuse is able to move data pretty quickly using LDR. LIGOTools: nothing to report. MatApps: Has been testing the 200b compiler. Tested on corrpower, got the same results. Documented. There is a hitch running 32 bit computation on FC4 has an immediate segfault; works under CentOS 5. He is working with MathWorks to understand this. There may be a new pre-release next month. Have been reviewing burstMDC with Jolien and burst review; may be able to bring into uniformity with LAL. Metaio: Kipp has added a feature to allow it to read int4u values. The code would need to be recompiled against next release. No pressure for a release now. People are finding old versions of metaio ...... Onasys: nothing to add at this time. OSG-LIGO: Britta has the f2f of LIGO-Pegasus for 11 Feb and there is an agenda posted on the workshop wiki. Britta asked about the tag for glue. Patrick asked about the E@H on OSG sites. Britta said, in theory, we can run on 25-30 sites if they are all up. Patrick to ask for a two-page summary .... actually running on two sites UW-Milwaukee and ATLAS. Patrick asked for reporting about how many CPU hours per week are being used on OSG sites. AOB: Patrick asked Fillipo about getting MDS and webMDS turned on. He has been able to get things up and running with some help from VDT and MDS guys. He explored the possibilty of web page displaying information about the cluster. Scott wrote a small script to display information about queues, etc. Scott and Fillipo visited Madison to explore monitoring system using Condor or COndor-C Face-to-face meeting at Caltech, 20 March 2008 (tentative attendees): Duncan Syracuse PD Fillipo Keith Thorne maybe Greg Ed Kipp John Scott Warren Patrick Xavier Amador (maybe) Nick
