Next Meeting: Thursday October 5, 2000 at 11AM (CIT will call 414-229-6508).
Review progress with LALWrapperInterface and trivial dso
Jolien Creighton reported that the LALWrapperInterface is written,
but there is a problem compiling it using autoheader. He is
working to sort out this problem and commited to having it resolved by
Monday October 2. Duncan Brown is ready to write the trivial shared
object. It will be ready by Monday October 2.
Work plan for wrapperAPI
The workplan was reviewed, and the following dates and issues were
discussed.
Status of the wrapperAPI
Phil Ehrens reported on the status of the mpiAPI. It is fully integrated
as an LDAS API. It is running as a command parser and outputs the user
command that will be sent to the wrapperAPI. Code exists to handle the
socket communications with the wrapperAPI. There are examples of the
output logs in the LDAS system development logs. Links will be added to
the main mpigroup page. Phil will document the use of mpiAPI on a web
page and set up a way to exercise the code by returning the user commands
to people by e-mail. People should send phil@ligo.caltech.edu an e-mail
with a simple password.
Any other business
At next week's meeting the workplan for the mpiAPI and the integration
phase of all LDAS components needed for the MDC will be discussed. These
plans will assembled by Brady with input from Ehrens and Blackburn. Brady
will also provide an outline of the presentation to be made to the ASIS
working group describing wrapperAPI implementation and how to build a dso.
