Inspiral DSO:
------------

Has made some changes to the LAL code needed to deal with truncation in the
time-domain and making sure that stuff is working.  Moving towards getting the
challenge part of MDC done.  Then analyzing E5 data.  His targets are:

--> Challenge on Tuesday
--> E5 data filtered

Problem with wrapperAPI on Beowulf talking to mpiAPI.  Patrick emphasized that
we need to be able to turn dso's around from job to job.   This is not
possible on the LIGO systems,  hence rapid developments needs us to be running
LDAS outside the Laboratory.

Is there a way that we can run on RH6.2?   The lab will not support this.  Kent
emphasized this issue and pointed out that Stuart wants him to move to RH7.2
as soon as it becomes available.   Patrick mentioned that this is under
consideration by the Software Coordinator and will soon be addressed.

Should be able to put metadata into databases.  It's up to us.  At caltech,
the test system is owned by Caltech.   Dev is different from MIT,  etc.  

You will provide support for groups to get database up and running.

Warren recalls that Isaac could probably how to set up and install on RH7.1;
Kent only has problems if he has to 


FCT DSO:

At the moment,  there are two different efforts.  ALgorithm has been
implemented by Jeff.  Is not working yet.  Scientific verification is in
LinQin.  Target date for Challenge:  not available.  Their goal is also to
make this deadline.  In october,  should have hierarchical search code ready.

Target dates for releases of LDAS's:  as soon as all the new functionality
will be ready.  When we stabilize the PSD and other data objects.  In his
mind,  agreement on the metadata.  Kent will send an e-mail about this to
Alan.   

Kent's e-mail specifies a number of changes for the wrapperAPI.  When?  Next
wednesday,  Masha will make changes to the file and send them to me,  duncan
and Jolien.  One of us will put it into the CVS.   Let us make changes to
metadata as they become necessary.  

Kent will put in the DB domain and metadata for time-series.   But these
changes will propagate through ...... and add a structure database.  Masha and
Kent will 

Jolien is worried about Building output.   LAL time series stucture does not
have the phase in,  will it be in at all?  What does Jolien know about the
SCCB?   Nothing on the schedule;   ALan is the chair and he convenes the
meeting.  

Known pulsar demod:

does all the things we learned how to do at LDAS camp.  So it runs under the
wrapperAPI.  Writes output to database tables.  Now it produces sensible
numbers.   He will try to get it into the CVS next week or so.   Greg wanted
to ask about status of writing frames.   Kent explained that this is already
available in LDAS.  Greg is filling in structure for output.  Does there need
to be a special format for output to be written to frames?  Using multidimdata
is the way to do it.   Greg will want to output short baseline FFT's.
