Minutes of the LSUG Teleconference
Thursday, 20 December 2001  (10:00PST)
Attendance:

Duncan, Patrick, Alan, Jolien, Ed, Greg, John, Stuart, Peter, Phil,
  Kent, Masha, Linqing,

Action items:

  1. Develop criteria for verification of code before changes can be
pushed to the sites during E7.

  2. Albert will circulate a proposed ramp-up schedule for the DSO's
  during E7.

Status of LAL/LALWrapper/LDAS:
LAL has been released, but does not compile on SGI's. Make fails
on shared compile. There is a failure mode on make check. Will the
  archive be frozen for E7?

Status of the DSO's:

   Slope: [Fully functional] (2,3)
Find suitable thresholds for different channels. Then run for
fixed periods and try to understand the output. Wants to get a
feel for where the thresholds can be set on real data. AT present,
his code only examines one channel LDAS. only one node.

   Inspiral: [Fully functional] (4,4)
   additional at least 3 nodes

   FCT: [Almost Fully functional] (4,4)
   at least three 3 nodes.

   TFClusters: [Fully functional] (4,3)
last e-mail from julien indicated 8 nodes to run real time. Makes
a big difference for how much he puts into the database.

Power: [Not ready without changes] (2,2)
at least 2 nodes to run

Periodic: [Not ready for science] (0,0)
Version in LAL not ready for E7 and will not be run during E7.
