Attendance:
Jolien, Duncan, Kent, Patrick, Greg, John,
Action items:
As an action to be covered in the August 16th DSO focal group
meeting of LSUG, Kent would like to determine a upper limit on the
number of rows of data a single DSO search job can insert into the
database.
Status of LDAS:
LDAS will push a pre-release version onto the Caltech systems on
Monday July 29th for internal testing. On Wednesday July 31st the
pre-release version will be pushed onto All Laboratory LDAS systems
for configuration and final testing. This would be a good time to
test any newer versions of LAL and LALwrapper before the
finalization and release of LDAS on Friday August 2nd.
Status of LAL:
The tentative schedule for releasing LAL is August 16th with a
freeze on the LAL CVS roughly 2 days earlier. Jolien will send out
an email to LAL-DISCUSS finalizing the freeze and release date.
John Whelan plans to make some minor changes to LAL to incorporate
Angle definition changes in line with the Frame 5 Specification.
Status of on-line monitoring page:
The first version of the real-time monitoring page is available for
review (see Duncan's email from July 24th). The additional
requirements on search scripts is small and outlined in a readme
file for a test script.
Greg Mendell mentioned that it should be possible to have a script
monitor the HTML webpage for the real-time monitor and sound an
audible alarm in the control rooms if a red(error) condition occurs.
Duncan also noted that the final version of this real-time
monitoring page will be password protected.
Kent suggested adding links to contact information for each of the
searches being monitored in case of questions from the scientist on
duty.
Next Meeting:
