Attendance:
Duncan, Patrick, Xavier, Jolien, Kent, Stuart, Peter, Masha,
Greg, Joe, John, Albert,
Action:
1. Changes to WrapperInterfaceDatatypes.h will be made by the
Lab for LDAS 0.5.0. The change will be made to LALWrapper CVS
archive when 0.5.0 is released. Jolien will push this change
through the SCCB.
2. Stochastic group will develop new database tables as
needed for that group. This will be the first action for
their group tomorrow.
Agenda:
LDAS status: 2.1 % at LHO, 2.6% at LLO, 1.1 at MIT. Two
cases - missing frames and DSO's seg-faulting were about
equal. Other causes were in 10^-3--10^-4 range mostly in
user commands, database issues at LHO, power outage at LLO.
DSO failure rates: tfclusters and slope were the ones causing
the seg-faults. This is far too high. We need to get it
under control.
LDAS code freeze will be roughly one week from today.
Proposed changes to WrapperInterfaceDatatypes: request came up
several months ago, people wanted to send data to DSO's which
are not time/freq or other series that exist. Adding one new
structure and modifying the structure. Ed thinks he do it in
a few hours when Masha is ready for it. Unanimous to go
ahead with change.
All sites have 0.4.0 except PSU. Change will go in
LALWrapper after 0.5.0 release and Jolien will push the change
around SCCB loop just to say we did.
John Whelan: Stochastic analysis has been putting some output
into the search summary table. But this means that there are
some problems because everything goes into the same table.
Idea is that there should be a table called multi-stochastic
has been kicking around for a year. Usually comes up when
it's not a good time to make the change to LDAS. Peter says
that change can be made on dev system in a day or two. The
addition of the table has to happen in conjunction with a
release. This is a good time to do it. Now the question is:
what is the database? After much discussion, one or more
database tables may be what they need. Which ones they want
will depend on what the search codes produce. Action: the
stochastic group will need to come up with something
reasonable. Can add columns to a table as long as they are
not unique ID's and things like that. Are they close to
using the new table design. They need to get it in there
before they are ready.
DSO's are not being used correctly: there is a second type of
analysis that is being done that is different to the basic
algorithm.
Calibration: we talked about it.
