This section includes and documents the code that was used to perform
a binary inspiral search of the Caltech 40-meter data from November
The goal of this work was to place an upper limit on the event
rate for binary inspiral in our galaxy. This section includes the
Binary Inspiral Search on November 1994 Data
The results of this search are described in the paper,
Observational limit on gravitational waves from binary neutron stars in the
Galaxy, which may be obtained from the following web site:
- Source code for the search.
- Source code for generating simulated signals with ``galactic''
- Scripts for running the code on a Beowulf-type system (see
for an example).
