I am saikat and this is sorta like the living room. You stay here for some time, make yourself comfortable, and then, when you know a little bit about me...you can move on to look at the other rooms....I mean links....or cyber-rooms......whatever.
As of now I am settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and go to school at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. There I am working as a research assistant with Dr. Patrick Brady, on the LIGO project (you may find more detail on my latest work under the ``'' link). I can tell you how I've wanted to work on Gravitation and cosmology for my entire life, and how ultimately made it to UWM, in detail...but that I'll save for later. For now, The fact that I am originally from Kolkata, India, went to school there ( that'd be all the way from kindergarten to college )and that Milwaukee weather is quite a change for me should be enough.
