  1. We went over Shourov's presentation [ PDF ]. Here are his notes of what changes were recommended:
    • slide 5
      • show plot of typical basis function

      • clarify that the matched filter equivalence is for waveforms that are sinusoidal-gaussians after whitening.
      • use inspiral definition of rho (remove "-1" from last equation)

  2. We discussed Luca's SGR1806-20 poster.
    • Luca has followed up on the request for better understanding of the sensitivity of the search. He has run the search on Gaussian noise and got very good agreement with expected sensitivities.
    • Energetics: how were these derived? Luca will provide techinical note.
  3. Isabel: 3 additional GRBs at beginning of S2 have been analyzed and will be added to plots. S5 search has been rerun with V3 calibration.
