  1. Sample output page from the S3 GRB 031108 [ HTML ]
    • On-Source and Off-Source Events (no injections).
      • Tuning done on some off-source; UL on different off-source. Tuning on cut of nullinc/nullenergy and plusenergy/plusinc -- not used in this particular GRB. Picks threshold to get best UL (based on the off-source segments for UL tuning).
      • How sensitive to the job that you select as "on source" for tuning purposes? Each background job is used as the "on source" for many trials of UL estimation. Get a mean upper limit over all backgraound jobs. Find the threshold that gives the lowest average UL. The one that appears is the median BG job.
    • Injected Waveform : chirplet 1e-21~0.006667~150~0~0 from injection file: ../input/injection_csg150q9.txt
      • Interpolation is crude... overestimate.
      • Bug in legend of second plot.
      • Why magenta star rather than colour (significance) of largest event?
      • Injections at scale closest to 90% UL.
      • Rate vs. plusenergy significance: for BG, take only top 80 events. Normalization at the left is arbitrary. Should be properly normalized at large plusenergy significance.
    • Veto Tuning
      • Negative numbers: one-sided vs. two-sided.
    • Summary
      • Factor of 35 ubove H1 noise curve. Actual received SNR is 15 (amplitude) after accounting for the antenna response.
      • Need amplitude around 2 in H2 for null veto to work with H1-H2.
